TEODOR DOVICHINSKI, 21 FROM MACEDONIA LIVING IN HYDERABAD, INDIA
I am a graphic designer pursuing a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences at Minerva Schools at KGI, concentrating in Arts and Literature, and Historical Forces. The ability to draw inspiration from everyday occurrences and interactions has led me to explore a variety of styles, techniques and forms of creative expression.
Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are my go-to’s for bringing ideas to life. What initially drew my attention to digital design is the ability to work with any color, line, texture and technique without being limited by the quality of your materials, lighting or location. In addition to using the array of traditional tools these two platforms offer, I often spend time exploring their possibilities for thinking outside the box and creating untraditional forms of art. For example, I have been using Photoshop to create animated videos by bringing still drawings to life and used Illustrator to take old, traditional forms of art like drawings and paintings and create digital versions of them.
In the past three years, I have lived on four different continents in five different metropolitan cities: San Francisco, Berlin, Buenos Aires, Seoul, and Hyderabad. The exposure to new people, cultures, and experiences combined with unique conventional and unconventional art forms have significantly enriched, inspired, and aided the development of my skills.
In the fall of 2018, I will be moving to London to continue my education and pursue new artistic endeavors. In the meantime, I remain located in Hyderabad, India, taking advantage of the many inspiring facets of the city and creating more art.
